One of London's narrowest homes — barely wider than a subway carriage — has gone on sale for $687,500.
The one-bedroom house on the site of a former garage in Putney is only 10 feet 8 inches wide.
The unique Wadham Road home is arranged over three floors and has an entirely black exterior.
Estate agents Winkworth say that the owner Paul Crowther's brief to the designer was "imagine it's a boat and I want maximum storage."
Online the property has been described as a Tardis, due to the "surprising" 613 square feet of internal space.
Inside there is a master bedroom, a rainforest-style shower, a separate toilet, a fitted kitchen, a living area with floor-to-ceiling windows, a study, and a roof terrace.

The house is listed for $687,500 and is self-contained with its own front door.
Russell White, of Winkworth's Putney office, handling the sale, said: "It is a really cool house and is totally self-contained, which is hard to find at that price level in Putney.
"There are no service charges and it has been very well designed.
"It is a perfect for a first-time buyer, a downsizer or someone looking for a base if they are working in London but living elsewhere."
The London Underground 2009 Stock — the newest deep-level tube stock in current service — measures 8 feet 10 inches wide.
