Mizzou baseball head coach Kerrick Jackson will return for his fourth season at the helm of the program, per Kendall Rogers of D1 Baseball.
The Tigers have struggled in their three seasons under Jackson, totaling a 63-102 record since his arrival. After a 23-32 debut campaign in 2024, including a 9-21 record in Southeastern Conference play, the Tigers dropped to an abysmal 16-39 with just three conference wins in 2025.
Although Missouri finished last in the conference in 2026, it did see improvement relative to the previous season — the Tigers doubled their conference win total and finished the season with a 24-31 record (6-24 in SEC play). They ended the season strong, notching their first SEC Tournament win since 2017 by defeating Ole Miss in the first round.
Should Jackson’s Tigers carry that momentum into his projected fourth season as head coach, the team could see much-needed improvement in 2027.
