A student at Tuskegee University has been named a winner of AT&T’s 2024 Rising Future Makers Showcase.

Three Black Belt companies were among 14 to be selected for the 2022 Made in Alabama Showcase that took place at the state capitol today. 

The Selma City Schools End-of-Year Title 1 parent meeting will be held on May 5. 

Octoberfest Food Festival, presented by Anointed Food Service and Snow’s Cleaning Service, is set for Oct. 2-3. The event will have a showcase of food, beverages and cuisines from food trucks and vendors from throughout the state. Live entertainment will also be a part of the occasion.
