Thomasville police officer Dallas Hinton was among other fallen policemen to be honored during a memorial ceremony held at the Alabama State Capitol by the Alabama Fraternal Order of Police (FOP).

Gov. Kay Ivey has ordered that flags be flown at half staff on Wednesday for Dallas Hinton, an officer of the Thomasville Police Department who recently passed away in a vehicle wreck. 

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 29 for Thomasville Police Officer Dallas Hinton, who died in a wreck on April 22. 

Several officials have released statements offering condolences in the wake of the death of Thomasville police officer Dallas Hinton, who died in a car crash on Wednesday. 

An officer with the Thomasville Police Department was reportedly killed on Tuesday morning in a collision while on duty. 

The Internal Revenue Service or IRS will visit Thomasville on April 28-30 to provide information and services on various tax-related topics.
