A large crowd showed up at the Carneal Building in downtown Selma, Thursday, Aug. 22 to share their vision for what Selma should be.
The Selma Redevelopment Authority and the city of Selma initiated a process with Design Alabama, a non-profit organization helping to create and enhance a sense of place for the city of Selma through “the collaboration of the design arts.”
A team of design professionals (Design Alabama) asked the public to help them understand the assets of the community and the things that make downtown Selma a special place in a community.
