The Demopolis Dream Center has announced the location for the children's museum.
The museum will be housed at 115 Strawberry Street in a property that will be renovated. It will feature the exhibits from Children's Hands On Museum in Tuscaloosa that donated the items after closing to be replaced by the multimillion-dollar Saban Center, a STEM education center located just off Jack Warner Parkway in Tuscaloosa.
The Dream Center is being led by Dr. Brittany Anderson, Carolyn Moore and Suzanne Young. They are raising funds to renovate the location and recently got a $50,000-a-year allocation approved by the Demopolis City Council.
