Sample ballots for the Nov. 3 general election are now available at the Alabama Secretary of State website.
The ballots were collected from all the Probate offices 67 state counties to add to the website, said Wes Allen, Secretary of State.
“As a former probate judge, I know firsthand the preparation and dedication required to conduct a fair, secure, and transparent election. I want to thank the county probate judges and election officials for their hard work in preparing and reviewing sample ballots, helping ensure Alabama voters have the information they need to be ready for Election Day,” Allen said.

The ballot for Perry County includes Donald Bennett Sr. as the nominee, despite disputes from incumbent Albert Turner Jr., who was declared the winner by the state Democratic Party in a meeting in late August.
Bennett was declared the winner by Perry County Probate Judge Carlton Hogue when he was tasked with breaking a tie that was determined in a July recount of the very close May 19 primary race. Hogue sent Bennett's name as the Democratic candidate, which is on the ballot.
Turner has the option of having residents write his name in on the ballot.
