Anderson Family Care is relocating its office to downtown Demopolis.
Construction on the new location at North Main Avenue started on July 24 for the new doctor's office. It is moving from 119 West Washington Street, according to a post on Facebook.
"We’re here for the long haul," the post said, adding they are looking forward to having a parking lot for patients.
The Main Avenue office is being renovated by Lana Smelley of Smelley Architecture and Interiors, Trick Construction & Remodel, and Bob Summerville as supervisor on site.
"We love all of our current neighbors and will miss being able to get to them in a few steps, but we also can’t wait to make even more downtown neighbor friends! Here’s looking at you Mason and Gardner CPAs LLC! We promise we’re good neighbors," the post said.
Anderson Family Care is owned by physician Dr. Brittney Anderson who grew up in Autauga County and attended Prattville High School. She is a graduate of Duke University and got a master's degree from UA's Rural and Community Health program followed by her medical degree from UAB.
