The American Cancer Society’s Selma/Dallas County Relay for Life, held Friday, May 31, was a success, according to Quenita Mitchell, Community Development Manager for the ACS in Selma.

She said participation for the event held at Lions Fair Park was “great” with “plenty of well decorated tents.” Below, a participant lights a luminaria in honor or memory of a loved one impacted by the disease.
