A traffic accident near Aliceville on Monday afternoon left a man dead and an infant injured.
A statement from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) identified the victim as Douglas Wilder, 37, of Aliceville.Â
Wilder was killed when the 2005 Ford Five Hundred he was driving collided with a 2017 Jeep Cherokee being driven by Haleigh Kendall Jayne Condra, 32, of Gordo.
Condra was transported for medical treatment along with a 10-month-old who was a passenger in the jeep.Â
The crash took place on Pickens County 2, near Patton Road, approximately four miles west of Aliceville.Â
