Two men from Montgomery have been sentenced for being felons who were in possession of firearms, said an statement from U.S. Attorney Kevin Davidson.

Stacy Rodrekus Calloway, 37, was sentenced on Feb. 25 to five years in prison after pleading guilty in November of 2025. He will serve three years of supervised release following his term.

The statement cited a plea agreement saying that Calloway was on supervised release after serving time for drug and gun convictions when he was stopped for a traffic violation by Montgomery officers on April 11, 2025.

Officers reportedly saw an object being thrown out prior to being pulled over that was later found to be a gun belonging to Calloway.

A passenger in the vehicle, British Tremain George, 47, was also found to be a felon in possession of a firearm.

Like Calloway he pleaded guilty to being a felon in possession of a firearm in November of 2025 but was sentenced to a year and eight months, followed by three years of supervised release.
