The 2025 Lobsterfest event hosted by St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Selma is set for Sept. 18 and will raise funds for its outreach programs.

Among its programs is the Walking In God's Spirt or WINGS respite ministry for dementia patients and their caregivers.

Meals include salad, lobster, potatoes, bread and dessert, as well as beverages served before and during the meal. Dine-in seating is 6 p.m. or 7:30 p.m. with seating limited to 138 people at each time. Drive-up takeout is available from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Tickets are $50 per person and must be purchased in advance at the church office located at 210 Lauderdale Street, or from Eventbite. Office hours are Monday to Thursday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Call 334-874-8421 to reserve tickets.

"This fundraiser involves many volunteers from St. Paul’s to pull it all together and provide a fun evening and delicious food for everyone," said a press release from the church. "We also rely on students from local schools, including Selma University, to help serve, transport coolers and clean up. They receive community service hours and split any tips collected!"
