The Second Annual P.R.A.Y.E.R. Team Empty Bowls event in Pike Road will raise funds to benefit the Summer Feeding Program on March 3.Â
P.R.A.Y.E.R. stands for Pike Road Area Your Emergency Response.Â
Each ticket will directly go to the feeing program and includes a handmade bowl created by artists from the Pike Road Arts Council along with a meal of soup and bread made and served by P.R.A.Y.E.R. Team members.
P.R.A.Y.E.R. TEAM members will be compete for the 2026 Empty Bowls Best Soup Award voted on by residents.Â
Tickets can be purchased here or at Pike Road Town Hall by Feb. 27.Â
The event will be held at Grace Episcopal Church & Gardens Mt. Meigs on 906 Pike Road from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. For more information, email Jennifer Grace Kendrick at jarnold@pikeroad.us.
