The 49th Annual Black Belt Folk Roots Festival is set for Saturday, Aug. 24 at the Thomas Gilmore Courthouse Square in Eutaw.
The free event is a celebration of crafts, music, dancing, storytelling, food, art and community in the Black Belt region. It will feature handmade crafts, live music and children's activities.Â

* IMPACTS...The combination of a dry air mass and windy
conditions will result in critical fire weather conditions.
Outdoor burning is not recommended.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now....or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
