Next week, Rep. Terri Sewell of the seventh district of Alabama will host the 8th Annual Job Fair at Wallace Community College Selma.

Anyone who is looking for a job or is looking to change careers can come and meet representatives from 70 employers, including Mercedes-Benz U.S. International Inc., Regions Bank, the Personnel Board of Jefferson County, the State of Alabama Personnel Department and others.

“Our annual Job Fair is one of the most important events that we host all year,” commented Sewell. “This year, we return to the Black Belt to host our 8th Annual Job Fair. Each year we alternate between urban and rural parts of the district and this year I’m excited to be returning to my home town of Selma.”

Pre-registration is encouraged for this event, which is free to the public.

The fair will take place on Aug. 8 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wallace Community College Selma is located at 3000 Earl Goodwin Parkway.
