The Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH) has kicked off its 2023Â Share Your Smile with Alabama Photo Contest.Â
The contest is aimed at third grade students in public and private schools and kids of ages eight to 10 years old in home schools to have their pictures showcased throughout the state.Â
The ADPH Bureau of Family Health Services will select one boy and one girl as the grand prize winners.
The deadline to submit photos is Nov. 30. Afterwards voting will be held from Dec. 1 to Dec. 15. The winners and their parents will then be invited to a news conference by the ADPH in Montgomery and will be featured on marketing campaigns to promote oral health in children.Â
