Alabama Power crews continued to work throughout the night Sunday and outages in central Alabama have been reduced to 4,000 in central Alabama.
Additional crews from Alabama and other states are also in the area working to restore service after severe storms on Saturday night caused widespread damage.
For central Alabama, remaining outages are concentrated in the following areas:
Tallapoosa County – 1,300 customers
Elmore County – 610 customers
Perry County – 600 customers
Dallas County – 400 customers
Chilton County –340 customers
Wilcox County – 220 customers
Lee County – 235 customers
