The Alabama Black Belt Adventures Association (ALBBA) wild game cook team recently won the Alabama Wildlife Federation (AWF) State Championship Wild Game Cook-Off competition on Aug. 10. 

The team, Loosen Your Black Belt Bunch, won the region AWF Tri-County Cook-off in April, qualifying them to compete in the state championship. They won for their dish, Venison Wellington, made by Bryson McGlynn and Ricky Albright. 

The team also won for Best Presentation. 

"We couldn't have done it without all our volunteers that helped set-up, prep food, and serve food as well as the daunting task of clean up," said a post by ALBBAA on Facebook.
