Aldi will open several new locations throughout Alabama, including in Tuscaloosa County near the Black Belt region.Â
According to AL.com, Winn-Dixie and Harveys was acquired by Aldi from Southeastern Grocers. As part of the deal, Aldi acquired store locations Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana and Mississippi.
Seven Aldi locations are planned for Alabama.Â
The Tuscaloosa County location will be opened on 10 McFarland Boulevard in Northport.
