Selma Aldi grocery store

A new Aldi location will open in Selma Thursday at 1952 West Dallas Avenue. 

The Selma location is one of two that is opening, the other being in Chelsea. 

According to AL.com, the openings are part of an expansion that Aldi's is making with 255 other stores opening throughout the nation. The Selma Winn-Dixie was converted to an Aldi's after the company bought Winn-Dixie in 2024. 

Aldi's website lists the Selma store operating hours as 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. 

Aldi is going in the place of a former Winn-Dixie. It closed in March to be renovated.
