American Legion Post #324 is seeking veterans who received a Purple Heart to honor at a banquet on April 6. 

"This year’s theme will showcase and honor those valiant men and women who have received one of our nation’s highest award," said a message to media from the post. 

Anyone who has suggestions are asked to contact Legionnaire John Goings at 334-349-1380 or Adj. Dennis Fluker at 334-209-2913 by April 15. 

"Our sincere gratitude and thanks are extended to the residents of Dallas county in this endeavor," said the message.
