AmeriCorps to hold recruitment drive in Selma on Thursday

AmeriCorps will hold a recruitment drive tomorrow at the Selma Convention Center from 12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m. 

The recruitment is being held months after the Selma AmeriCorps Neighborhood Development Initiative was shut down in April. 

Those who are interested in signing up online may visit the AmeriCorps portal and find their state before registering their information for an application. In the application users will be asked to provide their motivation, skills, experience and two professional references. 

The Selma Convention Center is located at 211 Washington Street.
