Applications are now open for Delta Regional Authority's 2022 Delta Leadership Institute Executive Academy with the first session to take place in Selma.Â
The academy is a nine month program that will involve community leaders hailing from different parts of the Delta region. The aim of the program is to address decision-making skills, policy development and other subjects.Â
The program will be done in sessions in several states next year. These will be led by experts who will talk about subjects relating to infrastructure, transportation, small business/entrepreneurship, workforce development among other economic policies.Â
The first session will take place in Selma on Jan. 24 to 27 in 2022. Other sessions will be held in Mississippi, Louisiana, Washington, DC., Illinois and Tennessee.Â
