Rural Health Medical Program CEO Keshee Dozier-Smith will join Rep. Terri Sewell (AL-07) for an episode of Terri Talks titled "Rural Health Crisis".

"The conversation comes as hundreds of our nation's rural hospitals and health centers teeter on the brink of closure and millions of Americans face skyrocketing premiums after the so-called 'One Big Beautiful Bill' made the largest cut to health care in American history," said Sewell in an announcement.

"The crisis is forcing rural communities in Alabama to contend with fewer services, longer wait times, and life-threatening delays to emergency care."

The episode will be streamed on Thursday at 3 p.m. on Sewell's Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and X (formally known as Twitter) pages.

Edit: This story has been updated after a press release from Rep. Terri Sewell's office said that Whitfield Regional Hospital CEO Doug Brewer will appear at a later episode.
