Three students from the Black Belt are among others to be joining the new Alabama 4-H ambassadors team, a program of the Alabama Cooperative Extension System, for 2024-2025.
Students who are selected for the team will serve as representatives and will help with 4-H clubs and youth council meetings throughout the year.
Serving as advisors to the state ambassadors are Joy Scott, an Alabama 4-H leadership and citizenship specialist, and 4-H Youth Development Coordinators Trent Carboni, Deborah Stewart and Kisha King.
“Working with the ambassadors each year is an extremely exciting part of my job,” said Scott. “I have the opportunity to witness first-hand how the ambassadors explore their personal 4-H spark on the county, regional and state level.”
Ambassadors from the Black Belt are Leland Burge of Clarke County, Radiance Ransom of Dallas County, and Charity Tubberville of Crenshaw County.
