Selma will be one of the stops for Black Voters Matter Funds' (BVMF) bus to encourage Black voters as part of its "WE GOT THE POWER" campaign.Â
On Friday, Oct. 13, the bus will be in Mobile and will have remarks from national and local leaders. On Saturday, Oct. 17, the bus will be at Lowndes County White Hall Piggly Wiggly on 6998 US-80 from 9 a.m. to 9:45 a.m.Â
Afterwards the bus will go to Montgomery and Huntsville. BVMF has stated that the bus will go to at least 12 states in the southeast and midwest during the campaign.Â
According to a press release from BVMF, the campaign has reached more than seven million voters.Â
