The Blackbelt Benefit Group is hosting a Community Clean Up Day Saturday downtown.
The family-friendly volunteer opportunity will be held from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Lauderdale Street, behind the Walton Theater.
The cleanup will focus on weeding and mulching flower beds.
Bring gardening gloves and something to drink, and BBG says they will supply the rest.
The group's 1st Saturday Selma event will also take place on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with shopping, art and food downtown.
