The Selma Redevelopment Authority put a hold on agreements with engineers to light the Edmund Pettus Bridge during a recent meeting.
The SRA board met Aug. 20 by teleconference for its regular scheduled meeting and voted after a Zoom meeting with HLB Lighting Design and Parsons to table a memorandum of agreement at this time for the bridge lighting project.
The SRA wants to get more answers about how the project will be structured financially and will revisit the Memorandum of Understanding in a month.
