WASHINGTON, D.C. – Sen. Katie Britt, R-Ala., has been named a deputy whip for Senate Republicans.
Majority Whip Sen. John Barrasso, R-Wyoming, on Tuesday named Britt as one of 10 deputy whips who will count votes and unite the Republican Conference.

As deputy whip, I am excited to help unite our conference and make a difference in the lives of hardworking Americans.”
Barrasso praised Britt’s work for families.
“She works every day in the Senate to save our country and pass along a brighter future to the next generation,” he said in a statement announcing the whips. “Katie is an incredible advocate for family first solutions.”
