The CA3L Building at Mockingbird Lane in Troy was hit by the storm that took place on Saturday.

The damage has affected the dual enrollment Academy programs and STEM programs at the building that was "heavily" damaged, said an announcement on social media by Pike County Schools.

"We expect to lose at least half or all of the use of this facility for some time. Crews are working today on clean-up and assessment with repairs to begin as soon as possible," said the announcement.

"If necessary, alternate plans for serving these students will be announced in the next several days. All other schools and worksites appear to be undamaged but assessments will continue throughout the next several days."

Updates can be seen at the Pike County Schools Facebook page.
