The Camden Police Department is in mourning following the death of Officer Michael “Bone” Andrews in a motorcycle accident on Tuesday night.
The department made the announcement in a post on social media.
"Officer Andrews was more than a police officer; he was a friend, a brother, and a valued member of our department family," it said. "He was truly a character, and his personality and presence brought something special to everyone who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his fellow officers, friends, and the community he proudly served."
Andrews was off-duty when the accident took place.
