A woman from Camden died in a two-vehicle crash that took place in Wilcox County on Thursday morning.Â
A report from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency identified the victim was Karen V. Scarbrough, 47. She was driving a 2018 Nissan Murano that collided with a 2019 Honda Accord driven by Tiffany T. Burrell, 39, of Catherine at around 7:05 a.m.
According to the report Scarbrough was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the car. She was pronounced dead at the scene while Burrell was injured and transported to J. Paul Jones Hospital in Camden.Â
The crash took place on Alabama 28 near the 66 mile marker, approximately two miles north of Catherine in Wilcox County.Â
