Demopolis City Schools hires former NFL player Kendrick Office as assistant coach

Demopolis City Schools has hired a well-known new assistant football coach who has experience in the NFL and coaching high school football.

Kendrick Office has been named an assistant football coach at Demopolis High working with the defense and will serve as PE coach at Demopolis Middle School.

Office taught for several years in Selma City Schools and was named Teacher of the Year in 2019 for his work at RB Hudson. He lives in Sumter County with his wife, LaToshia.

Office is a native of Butler, where he graduated from Choctaw County High School and in 2021 served as head football coach at his alma mater.

Office was inducted into West Alabama University's Hall of Fame in 2017 for his success in football there. He also played for the Buffalo Bills where he earned NFL Rookie of the Week honors for his play against Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. He also played in the Arena League for San Jose and helped led the SabreCats to a 2007 Arena Bowl Championship.
