The CITI Center in Selma has partnered with the Catalyst Center for Business & Entrepreneurship for what is hoped to be an impact on the city's small businesses.Â
An announcement on social media from CITI Center said that the partnership is a "game changer" for local entrepreneurs and aspiring business owners.Â
"Together, the CITI Center and The Catalyst Center will work to connect local entrepreneurs with greater access to business expertise, training, tools, resources, mentorship, connections, and opportunities for growth," the announcement said.Â
On Aug. 20 CITI Center will host "Back to Business Workshop" at 5:30 p.m. were residents are invited to learn how to develop their ideas for businesses.Â

"We’re creating an ecosystem where local ideas can become real businesses, existing businesses can become stronger businesses, and Selma residents can build opportunity and wealth right here at home," said the announcement.
