The City of Marion has lifted its boil water advisory after testing confirmed that the city's water supply is now safe. 

"Comprehensive bacteriological testing has been completed in accordance with state and federal standards, and the results confirm the absence of total coliform bacteria and E. coli," said a message on social media by the city. 

Water samples were collected from testing sites including 702 Washington St, 1101 Washington St, 207 Washington St, 804 Washington St, 12267 SR S, and 123 East Jefferson St.
