The Civil Rights Memorial Center will host a production of "Selma the Musical: the Untold Stories" at the Montgomery Performing Arts Center on Friday, Feb. 23.Â
The production is based on historical events and figures whose views of civil rights conflict with each other.Â
Selma native Sheyann Webb Christburg will be honored that night. She was a foot soldier during the Civil Rights Movement and was present at Bloody Sunday.Â
The Civil Rights Memorial Center is a project of the Southern Poverty Law Center. The production will be held at 6 p.m. at the arts center located on 201 Tallapoosa Street.Â
