The Council on Substance Abuse (COSA) and C.H.O.I.C.E. in Uniontown hosted a teen drug prevention event on June 11.
The Teen Voices & Choices: Creative Conversation Lab brought together local youth and gave them interactive lessons so they can explore healthy lifestyle choices, build positive coping skills and increase their awareness of substance misuse prevention.
The youth-focused prevention event designed to educate teens about the risks associated with alcohol, tobacco, other drugs and vaping.
During the event, participants received prevention education and engaged in interactive activities that reinforced healthy decision-making. Activities included Fatal Vision Basketball, canvas painting and bracelet making, providing opportunities for teens to learn, express themselves creatively and participate in meaningful discussions.
