The next Criminal Justice Mass Meeting in Selma will feature former U.S. Senator Doug Jones on Jan. 15, 2026.

The meeting will be hosted at Historic First Baptist Church by Sen. Robert Stewart and Rep. Prince Chestnut.

Jones also announced in November that he is running for Alabama governor in the 2026 race as a Democrat against Republican Tommy Tuberville.

Additionally, there will be giveaways, entertainment and free food.

There will be a Warrant Clinic in the basement of the church starting at 4 p.m. followed by the mass meeting at 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The Historic First Baptist Church is located at 709 Martin Luther King Jr Street.
