Weather radio

Dallas County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) will distribute weather radios to senior citizens or people with disabilities in April through May. 

The EMA will show presentations about how to be prepared during emergencies. Photo IDs are required for one radio per household. 

See below for dates and places: 

April 29 - E.M. Brown Community Center on 263 County Road in Minter from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. 

April 30 - Safford Volunteer Fire Department on 136 County Road 15 in Safford from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. 

May 1 - Plantersville Fire Department on 111 Oak Street in Plantersville from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. 

May 2 - Selma Fire Department (Station 3) on 1500 Broad Street from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
