Selma High School’s track and field team has been performing well in the 2023 season, despite having no track to practice on.

The athletes can’t use Memorial Stadium’s track like they used to because it still has storm damage that hasn’t been repaired. Instead, they use the school’s walking trail, according to head coach Jeffery Walker.
