A Demopolis man was recently killed in a single-vehicle crash in Hale County on March 31. 

According to the Demopolis Times the victim was identified as TaCorey D. Jefferson, 31. Jefferson's vehicle reportedly left the roadway and overturned before striking a tree. 

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) reported that Jefferson was not wearing a seatbelt, the article says. The crash occurred an estimated five miles east of Sawyerville on Alabama Highway 60. 

ALEA's Highway Patrol Division continues to investigate the incident.
