Eufaula police have identified a juvenile along with another suspect following a threat of violence against the high school that resulted in the closing of all schools on Thursday.Â
An announcement on social media said that the Eufaula Police Department (EPD) initially could not find the suspect that reportedly sent the threat via email on Sept. 4 but through collaboration with Eufaula City Schools (ECS) they were able to eventually make an identification.Â
The announcement said that EPD brought in the juvenile and other suspect for questioning on Thursday, Sept. 5 but did not spare any other details about them.Â
ECS resumed normal school operations on Friday.Â
The investigation is ongoing and EPD requests anyone with additional information to contact the Criminal Investigations Division at 334-687-1200 or the Anonymous tip Line at 334-687-7100.
