Juneteenth 2025

Juneteenth 2025 featured events and was attended by foot soldiers including Foot Soldiers Park founder Joanne Bland, who passed away in February, and Annie Pearl Avery.

Foot Soldiers Park is hosting the fifth annual “Still We Rise” Juneteenth Celebration on Friday in Selma.

The event will feature live music, civic action stations, community resources, a kids' zone and more. It is free.

The schedule is from 12 to 4:30 p.m.
