Gee's Bend Ferry Landing in Boykin will host a free breast cancer screening event on Nov. 6 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.Â
There will also be free HPV vaccinations for those of ages 9-18.Â
The event will offer the following:Â
- Free cancer screenings and treatment for women of ages 40-60 with no health insurance and low income.Â
- Screenings will be available for women of ages 40 and over who have not had a mammogram within the last year.Â
- HPV/Pap testing for cervical cancer screening will be available for women of ages 21-64.Â
Gee's Bend Ferry Landing is located at 12024 County Road 29. Attendants are asked to bring a driver's license or ID.Â
