HD Hyundai Power Transformers USA has received a 2024 Manufacturer of the Year from the Business Council of Alabama (BCA) and the Alabama Technology Network (ATN) during their 25th annual ceremony.
Winners are selected based on "customer focus, employee commitment, operational excellence, continuous improvement, and investment in workforce training and development."

MRaine Industries LLC and Coca-Cola Bottling Company United, which has a location in Montgomery, were among the nominees.

* WHAT...Very cold temperatures as low as 8 above expected.
* WHERE...All of central Alabama.
* WHEN...From 9 PM this evening to 9 AM CST Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin
is exposed to these temperatures. An extended period of
subfreezing temperatures could cause pipes to burst.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.
Keep pets indoors as much as possible.
Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure
portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills
inside.
To prevent freezing and possible bursting of pipes they should be
wrapped, drained, or allowed to drip slowly.
