Several local schools participated in the First Annual County 4-H Spring Contest held last week by the Dallas County Extension Office/4-H.Â
Participating schools included:Â Martin Middle School, Dallas County High School, Meadowview Christian School, homeschooled students, and Keith Middle High School.
Students competed in the $15 Dollar Challenge, Blocks Rock, Bake-Off, The World I See photography contest, Speak Up Alabama public speaking contest and birdhouses competed at the county fair in October.
Next will be a West Alabama Regional Round Up. Students will compete against Choctaw, Greene, Hale, Marengo, Pickens, Perry, Sumter, Tuscaloosa, and Wilcox counties.
