The Leaders of Tomorrow Youth Group (LOTYG) gave out several hundred food items during their annual Giving Thanks in Wilcox County Food Drive held on Tuesday.Â
An announcement from the Black Belt Community Foundation (BBCF) said that more than canned and other non-perishable food bags and 276 cold meats were given out during the event.Â
In the announcement thanks were given to all of the donors, volunteers and supporters, including UAB Sanitation Health Program for sponsoring bags for food items and the Piggly Wiggly Deli for preparing meals.Â
