Do not cross II

A series of shootings in May that resulted in the death of one and several others injured is under investigation by the Lowndes County Sheriff's Office.

The shootings occurred in White Hall and Mosses, according to WSFA.

On May 22 a man from Selma was killed at the Deluxe Lounge on Freeman Road in White Hall. Kenzavin Jermaine Andrews was identified as the victim. It is believed that he may have had a prior conflict with the suspect.

A juvenile was injured on Freedom Road in White Hall later that day after shots were fired into a home. The juvenile was grazed in the head but was not otherwise harmed. Authorities believe that it may be connected to the other shootings.

Others to be injured in White Hall were Ja’Marrion Johnson, 20, and another juvenile.

On May 24 two suspects reportedly broke down the door of a home in Mosses and fired at Quentavious Deon Seawright, 23. He was taken to a hospital with multiple injuries but is expected to recover. Authorities believe that the shooting may be connected to a conflict that began in Montgomery.
