The Marion Panthers came up short on the road Friday, losing 21–14 to Victory Christian in Pell City.Â
Victory Christian built a 21–0 lead through three quarters, scoring once in each period. Marion fought back late with two touchdowns in the fourth, but the comeback ran out of time.Â
The loss dropped Marion to 1–4 on the season. The Panthers will look to regroup as they head into next week’s matchup against Linden.Â
