University of Alabama (UA) golfer Jones Free was one of three from Alabama to be named to the 2024-2025 Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars list by the Golf Coaches Associate of America (GCAA).

All three were recognized as a part of the 556 Division I student-athletes from 190 schools, said a press release on Wednesday.

Free was noted for ending the second season with a stroke average (71.97), average vs. par (+0.61) and top 20 finishes, ranking second on the squad in total rounds under par (17) and rounds in the 60s (8) and earning four top 10 and six top 20 results across seven tournaments among others.
